Chapter Leaders Summit 2024: Chapters 101 for Chapter Leaders

Within the ever-growing and changing world of cybersecurity, networking is one aspect that has been important over the years for many professionals. Networking in the sense of communicating, collaborating, and supporting each other and not in the switch, router, and Layer 2 or 3 sense. This particular trait has been influential within the foundation of the ISC2 chapters. The concepts of Connect, Educate, Inspire, and Secure are the pillars of the chapter's foundation and are crucial to its success. In this session, James McQuiggan, CISSP and Chapter President of Central Florida Chapter, which received the 2019 Chapter Recognition Award will discuss the importance of these pillars and how it relates to the Central Florida Chapter. James will also share his insights on best practices, tips and tricks that have been instrumental in the success of the chapter, and its importance to our communities.
