Introducing the DDS Extensions for TSN specification

The Object Management Group® (OMG®) has recently released the new DDS™ Extensions for Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) specification. This latest addition to the DDS family of specifications leverages the capabilities of the IEEE TSN collection of standards to provide system architects with an integrated solution to build data-centric highly reliable deterministic applications over standard Ethernet. In this presentation, we will discuss the new OMG specification, describe its most salient features and concepts, and explain how existing DDS applications that exchange time critical information can be deployed over TSN.
